This Vegetable Waffle Dosai was a pleasant surprise when I tried first, Hubby and I loved it. Instead of doing dosai, panniyaram, uthappam etc., this turned out to be in a different shape and attractive.

Steps to make Veg Dosa Waffle:
  1. In a big bowl add the dosa batter, all chopped vegetable and spices and mix well.
  2. Grease the waffle maker with little oil and heat it. Pour batter in the cavity and level it.
  3. Dizzle little oil over it and close it.
  4. Cook till it become light golden in colour. It make take about 3-4 minutes to cook.
  5. Serve hot with coconut chutney, salsa sauce, green chutney and or tomato ketchup.
  6. Garnish with grated cheese, capsicum, tomatoes.
  7. You can also made colourful waffle by using palak puree, beetroot paste and haldi powder.

Cooking time and the amount of batter which you have to fill can vary between waffle makers. Dosa waffle takes little more time to cook than the regular waffle. Just check in between and take it out once it cooked and crispy on the outside.
