The ingredients needed to make Spinach quiche:
- Get 1/2 lb blackforest ham
- Get 1/2 lb swiss cheese

- Take 1 cup spinach

Use ham, bacon, or whatever protein. This quiche needs flavor boosters, so use your spice cabinet. Sautee onion, garlic & spinach in butter until onion is soft - add salt & pepper to taste - set aside. In medium mixing bowl - whisk together the eggs & milk.
Steps to make Spinach quiche:
- Set oven to 350º.
- In a saucepan saute onion with spinach. I like to sautee it in bacon grease. But it doesn't matter. Then layer the spinach, then meat, then swiss cheese in the pie shell.
- Mix the milk, eggs, mixed cheese and seasoning in a bowl and pour in the pie shell. Place in the oven for 50 minutes.
- Let sit for 30 minutes before cutting. Enjoy. You can play around with the ingredients however you like.
Spread shredded cheese in bottom of pie crust. Spread spinach mixture over cheese in pie crust. Pour egg/milk custard over spinach mixture & cheese. In a large skillet, saute onion and mushrooms in oil until tender. Add spinach and ham; cook and stir until the excess moisture is evaporated.
